 The 1961 model year was the end of the road for DeSoto automobiles in the United States.DeSoto managed to produce an elegant, final brochure with clear, sharp photography that painfully illustrated that this was the final DeSoto. No model names. One wheelbase. Two bodystyles. DeSoto had fallen and wouldn't get up.
